Choc cake recipe substitute question

eatmehappy · 10/04/2020 11:44

I have a choc cake recipe I want to do today. However it calls for cocoa powder - and I only have fine dark cocoa powder. Can I use this as normal? What difference will it make to the taste? And do I have to change any other ingredients to suit?
Thanks

Surely "fine dark" cocoa powder is still cocoa powder? Confused

Haha! Thank you! I googled and it started talking about dark powder needing less bicarbonate of soda or something and I got confused.

Clearly never bake choc cakes
Thanks everyone

Suitably embarrassed haha
