Supermarket delivery slots

Has anyone managed to snag a slot for either delivery or click and collection in the last week or so? I was staying up until midnight to get a C&C slot with Tesco which worked last week, but they all seem to be sold out now, even after queuing to get on the app. Anyone noticed a trend/pattern to the best time to get a slot?

I looked at Asda for click and collect at around 7am the other morning and they had plenty, they were gone by the time my friend tried at around 9

I managed to get a Tesco slot 3 weeks ahead for the 21st when I realised they opened their slots at midnight. Today when I was adding things to my order, I idly checked thedelivery slots and there were 4 days towards the end of next week with availabilty throughout the day. So I booked one of those and cancelled my one for the 21st. I've been checking on and off throughout the day for weeks now and it's the first time I've seen available like that, so not sure what the pattern is. And they were all gone when I checked again about 10 minutes later.
