Biscuit recipe for shapes

Does anyone have a good recipe for biscuits that hold their shape when cooked? We usually do gingerbread but we are all a bit bored of that but want to make some animal biscuits.

these]] sugar cookies do, although the recipe measurements are in cups so you may need to use an online converter (and the oven temp is in Fahrenheit)

These are my go-to-never-fail, but make sure you use butter, that's what stops them spreading when they bake.

Was going to say nigella too. I had that recipe in a tin of hers of biscuit cutters and it works really well
