it looked yummy but what can I substitute for the nuts? ( allergic child) -just more flour?!

In the show he suggested adding dried fruit I think cherries, how about that? Or a mix of that and flour. You probably do need something to replace the texture so 50/50 fruit and flour might be worth a try
