Very naive I’m sure but can I melt dark chocolate, add more (icing?) sugar and some creme fraiche and magically have something more like milk chocolate???

Wouldn’t that give you dark chocolate ganache?

FusionChefGeoff · 02/04/2020 13:33

I don’t know!?! How do the chocolate people make milk chocolate??

You don’t need to add all the extra bits - just add the dark chocolate into the milk.

Then you can sweeten with sugar once it’s done, if it’s not sweet enough for you.

It won't be the same as a bar of milk chocolate but you could make some truffles if the dark chocolate is too strong for you on it's own.

Buy some white chocolate and melt the two together Smile

If I was going out to buy white chocolate I’d just buy my own weight in caramel and twirls Grin

I’ve attempted some brownies which I’m planning on drowning in squirty cream and the last scrape of ice cream. Hoping that will do the job!!
