Loose vegetables and coronavirus

This is probably a silly question but I have severe health anxiety and I'm 28 weeks pregnant so I'm being extra careful. I am suspicious of buying the loose fruit and veg in the supermarkets at the moment but they had no potatoes in bags so I got some loose ones, are these safe to use? I will boil them so I'm thinking the heat would kill any germs on them?

Of course cooking will kill anything on them. Food is not thought to be a way in which it spreads. Clean the potatoes before cooking and enjoy
