What can I make with soup pasta?

I’ve got a packet of some tiny soup pasta lurking in the cupboard. My kids don’t really like it in soup, any other ideas of what to do with it? I feel I’ve got to make the most of a packet of pasta in the cupboard! Thanks

Cook it and mix it with cheese sauce and broccoli//cauliflower/ham.

Mine have it cooked with chicken stock then add a splash of lemon juice. I sometimes fry a bit of smoked bacon and add that chopped up with a little tomato purée too.

Pop it into a stew type thing to pad it out?

Make a cheese sauce, or tomatoe based one, and add in protein and veg. Brocolli and bacon might be nice, but whatever you have in the house.

Cook it in stock (cube) then serve it alongside something else, e.g. stew.

Like it's cous cous or orzo.

Cook it in some stock, it will cook quickly. Stir in some garlic, onion, mushrooms, peas or broccoli florets, chopped chicken or ham, it will make a quick risotto type dish.
Or cook plainly and serve with pork or lamb chops instead of potatoes.
Cook in stock and cool, use to make a pasta salad with vinaigrette or pesto or mayonnaise dressing.

Stir into cauliflower cheese to make a more substantial dish.
Cook and scatter over salads as you would green lentils to make them more filling.
Add to stews/casseroles.

I visit a Syrian/Mediterranean shop fairly often and they sell mixed bags of bulgar wheat mixed with tiny pieces of vermicelli which you cook like pasta (not for too long else it goes sludgy) which they serve with a Mediterranean inspired (roasted veg?) sauce. You can eat it hot like a pasta dish, or cold with added olives, herbs like cous cous salad etc. Either way it's really good!

Some lovely ideas, thanks everyone. Might have to buy more (when I can!) to try them all out!
