Freezing chicken I didn’t use?

Hello

Quick question.
I forgot I had a pack of mini chicken fillets in my fridge. Today is their last day of use, but we’ve eaten.
Can I chuck them in the freezer so as not to waste them?
It says freeze on day of purchase...but...I didn’t obviously.

What do you think?
Thank you in advance.

Yes, they'll be fine. Use the day you defrost to be on the safe side.

dementedpixie · 21/03/2020 20:35

Yes you can freeze it. You could have bought them today so it is still ok to do that

bloodywhitecat · 21/03/2020 20:35

They'll be fine, freeze them and use at a later date

Thank you all! I’ve popped them in the freezer. Can’t afford to even think of wasting meat at the moment!!
