Any one done a recent Ocado shop?

In the queue to edit my order for next week. I've already stretched the weekly shop to a week and a half so fridge pretty empty!

Am I likely to get much of what I am going to try and order? I presume I won't get another delivery slot for at least two weeks so am planning to get enough for at least a week if I can. We don't need toilet rolls thankgoodness!

Mine came today - only things not on there 2x soup, part baked baguettes, anti bac wipes and big potatoes. Everything else fruit, meat, bread, floor cleaner, laundry tabs were fine. We already had loo roll so wasn't on there and neither were pasta/rice as we have enough.

That's encouraging thanks. I was particularly worried about the meat/veg situation so pleased that was ok. I do need rice and pasta sadly. We don't each much generally but with the kids now at home and not being fed at childcare I'm definitely going to run out of pasta quickly!

I got one on Thursday. One missing item, one sensible substitution. Next delivery not for 10 days from now (earliest I could get), so just as well!

Those who received most of your orders, whereabouts in the UK are you?

Mine came last night. I’d started adding on there a week ago, edited a couple of times. Everything arrived, except I had luxury loo roll substituted for basic ones, but under the circumstances i was happy to get any atall.

I've had a delivery just now (Herts) - there were substitutes but they were sensible (eg precooked whole chicken with long BB date not raw whole chicken). AND 2 packets of pasta (yay! is the only carb my autistic DD) will tolerate. Even fishfingers - thought they may struggle with frozen stuff. Haven't been able to edit or even check order for a few days.
Am v v v grateful. And thanked driver profusely - from a safe distance!

I had an email this morning to say I could now edit my order. Great, I thought. Except it said I could remove items or cancel the whole order but would not be able to add ANY items to the shop!

I cancelled it as I had saved the delivery slot for my elderly grandparents with an bottle of champagne

Mine is due tomorrow. I was able to log in again yesterday but only to remove things. Can’t edit.

I have a reserved slot each week. This weeks arrived yesterday, only missing items were soap. We have enough for this week at least so hopefully it’ll last until we are out of self isolation and can trawl the shop.

Before things went mad I edited the orders to make sure they would be fine for sure even if we couldn’t edit. Glad I did!

I have a deliver on Friday. Everyone was here but some are substitutes, but very sensible ones. Like lovely Italian couscous became waitrose essential couscous.

I’m in South Hampshire and I know my orders come from Andover.

Gutted I didn't do a proper order when I reserved the slot. I only got as far as 4 days worth of stuff then had a meeting (took 2 hours to get the slot so whilst started in my lunch break it carried on into work time). I thought it would be fine and i could add stuff later...

That sounds crap. I got an order for next wed, and I would be gutted if I can’t add anything sensible to it.

My order was delivered this evening and 5/6 items were missing. The order delivered includes a pack of toilet rolls, 2 packs of pasta, a pack of chopped tomatoes and lots of fresh fruits, vegetables and meat. The only annoying substitution is the replacement of some bread for my low-carb bread, which is annoying because of my gestational diabetes, but the rest of the family can eat that, so not too bad.

I wasn't given a chance to add anything to today's order. But today I was also able to edit an order reserved over the coming week, and have managed to add most fresh food that I wanted. Unsurprisingly some pasta and frozen food is out of stock. But overall I feel reassured that Ocado fulfilled most of my order today and if the situation doesn't deteriorate, my family will have enough food.

Mine today had 2 items missing. I’m in Birmingham.

Received an email a few days ago informing me I’d only be able to remove items or cancel order, not add items.

They just started delivering in my area but when I try to order I get this message.

What are the slots like for the future?

You need to use the website not the app mouse.

Just edited (add and delete) my Thursday order - some items were sold out but generally all fine.

@HopeClearwater I'm in south hampshire and it's very bad. I logged on this morning to edit my wednesday regular slot. I've noticed it was able to placed one on 1/4, and then it says the one for 8/4 has failed and I need to rebook. However, there are no slot to rebook for anytime after 1/4.

I had a delivery yesterday - Birmingham.

I had a few substitutes, but all sensible. My shoes included fruit, veg, meat, toilet roll and pasta.

All needed because I've shopped as normal so far with weekly shops. I still only orders one bag of pasta etc with this shop. So really hoping others continue/or start to be sensible.

Just had a largish Ocado delivery arrive slightly early. Tinned tomatoes, fish and lentils and bread, eggs and loo roll delivered as ordered. Wine and low alcohol beer subbed for something slightly different.
Beef mince unavailable for some reason.
