Sprouted sunflower seeds in Riverford veg box - what can I do with them?

Have sprinkled some in hummous sandwiches, added a few to salads, but there is still nearly a box full left.
Any other ideas please?

(btw I won't be able to check back until tomorrow night, so all suggestions gratefully received)

How marvellous.
I would dress them in vinaigrette and have them as they are.

FrannyandZooey · 09/09/2007 22:01

oh you could stir fry them?

iheartdusty · 09/09/2007 22:05

just eat them they are delicious, My DD has claimed them as hers!

heh. this week i skipped the middleman and chucked them straight in bin (rather than leaving to moulder in fridge for a fortnight). will make the effort with most things and luuurve their regular sprouts but the sunflower ones taste soapy and greasy imo.

i wish riverford did what some other companies do and let you have a blacklist for stuff you just don't want. mine would have sunf sprouts and artichokes (both kinds).

Pickie · 09/09/2007 22:31

they do have a blacklist ,aubergines and brussels sprouts are on mine!

just call your local distributor and ask them to put on your blacklist

puppydavies · 09/09/2007 22:47

ooh fab, cheers pickie (you can have my sprouts if i can have your aubergines)

Pickie · 09/09/2007 23:06
