Creamy tomato sauce is lovely on pasta, just make up a normal tomato pasta sauce and stir the cream in at the end. Goes well with prawns, bacon or mushrooms in the sauce.

Fish pie with the cream.
This recipe if you’ve got double cream www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/creamy-fish-leek-pie
And this if it’s single cream www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/luxuryfishpie_67647

Not the most exciting, but I always make my leftover yoghurt into flatbreads.

Mix the yogurt and the cream together, add a decent amount salt, lemon juice and any herbs or spices you'd like, I do a little crushed garlic, lemon zest, black and pink peppercorns and some thyme. But you can go as plain or as funky as you want, cumin is nice too.

Then put a clean tea towel folded in two or two layers of kitchen towel in a sieve and put the mixture in it. Place sieve over a bowl. Place a plate over to weigh it down and then put it in the fridge overnight. And it makes cream cheese.

If you google Labneh you'll find lots of different recipes - but the base is always the same - yogurt + salt. Adding cream makes it creamier ...

These garlic flat breads are very easy and taste great. It's basically equal weights of yoghurt and self raising flour, so you could adapt it to how much yoghurt you've got left.

I use yoghurt to replace the milk in thick breakfast pancakes, but I don't really have a recipe, I just add flour and yoghurt to the eggs till it looks right and add a good pinch of bicarb. They come out very fluffy.

Bread and Butter Pudding with the double cream

Yogurt Curry (Kadhi) with the yogurt

If you like American-style pancakes, yogurt is my secret ingredient to make them very thick and fluffy. The acidity gives a boost the raising agents. You can replace half of the milk with plain yogurt. I always get compliments!
