Husband brought this home from Aldi. Worried if I do it in a pan the edges will be tough by the time the middle is cooked. Oven?

Second, is it for you to share? If so, then cut it in half, which will also make the cooking easier.

Don't oven cook it. You need a really, really, REALLY hot pan; oil the meat not the pan, and season it well, then sear it for a couple of minutes on either side if you like it rare. A bit longer if you don't like it rare. Then take it off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes before you serve it.

Oh, and make sure it's at room temperature when you cook it, not fridge cold.
