What are we having on our pancakes today?

Can't decide between traditional lemon juice and sugar. Or Nutella, banana and ice cream 😋 What do you like on yours?

Savoury option is chicken with broccoli, a bit of stilton and some cream for a sauce.

Sweet option, squeezed blood oranges and caster sugar.

Why is the first pancake always a write off????

1st pancake usually shit because people don't give the pan long enough to heat up.

Needs to be HOT!

Top tip - don't do a full pancake, just a small spoonful of batter to see if pans hot enough. This tiny pancake is of course the cooks bonus

We have eaten them already Graphista !! No cooks bonus .... I only had one savoury one as I am going to yoga in a bit and didn't fancy being upside down stuffed full of pancakes (relatively upside down of course I am not that accomplished).

Made me think I should make them more often, the chicken sauce took about 7 mins from thinking up the idea and the rest is obviously v quick.

Same. It's all I've know. Anything else is far too posh in this house. And don't even get me started on savoury pancakes!

Another traditional lemon and sugar here, can’t imagine having anything else! And we only have them once a year?! No idea why because I always enjoy them, but never think to cook them any other time 😂

Golden syrup and tons of lemon juice, eaten with fingers like a heathen so your hands get all sticky. I am fat and happy.

DD is a big pancake fan so these are good to ring the changes.

Her current favourite is... Nutella with lemon. Strange, strange child.
