Help. Is this safe to eat?

I bought a vegetarian quiche from Tesco on Monday that was use by that day. I couldn't cook it that day as had already got a plan for dinner so I popped it in the freezer.

Took it out after lunch to defrost and have popped it in the oven (mostly defrosted but not entirely) and on checking the timings noticed it said not suitable for home freezing ConfusedConfused

Is there a reason for this and will it be okay to eat now it's cooking? DH is due home for a quick bite at 6pm as has work at 6.30pm hence my dilemma.

Help!

I’d eat it. The texture might be a bit weird, but I’d say it’ll be safe enough.

Oh phew, that's sounds okay then. Smells yummy so let's hope it tastes yummy too. Thanks for replying.

It'll be texture, if it had been previously frozen it would say so. I'd eat it.

Yep, it was the texture for sure. Quite watery but still tasty 😋

Thanks both Thanks
