Soup with pasta

I'm looking for some nice recipes for soup with pasta in. I have tons of tiny pasta stars left over from weaning and I want to use them up but I'm not a fan of minestrone. Any recipe suggestions instead?

There is a recipe called pasta soup on bbc good food. It’s made with tortellini, the DCs really rate it so it’s a regular midweek dinner here.

Minestrone is great.
You could also do chicken rice soup with pasta instead if the rice.

Blitz before adding pasta and bortolli beans.

I often just make a simple tomato soup and throw in little pasta shakes towards the end. I think you can add them to pretty much any liquidy soup.

Make this. It’s amazing. Add a bit more pancetta and sage (but not too much sage) than she says.

Thanks! So many good suggestions so far. Not sure which one I fancy most. Like the suggestion of using the pasta in place if rice. Didn't even consider that!

Pasta e fagioli is fabulous. Garlicky, tomatoey soup with veg, beans and pasta. That with buttered bread is my favourite

You can also chuck pasta into a veg soup you plan to blend finely.
Gives it a creamy, rich taste and takes bitterness out of things like kale/winter spinach/sprouts etc.
