Can anyone help

I have gotten into a real rut. I am now 7 stone over weight and am getting takeaways every night. I have 2 boys 11 and 14 and an OH. But I just cant bring myself to meal plan or shop for groceries. I dont know what to do any more and I know I'm killing myself but what worse is I'm damaging my families health now too.

I am busy I work from 9 to 4 and then my second job 2 or 3 nights a week from 6 to 830 so theres little time for anything.

Anyone any ideas suggestions or a magic wand?

Just to add - meal planning is a pain in the arse, but once you've done it for a few weeks then you can just repeat them. Not only does that mean you don't have to meal plan again, but you even have the shopping list ready to go! If you do online shopping, I don't know if perhaps there's a way of having a list for each week saved that you can just add to your basket with one click?

I have just bought the Feed your family for £20 per Week recipe book, mainly because I was stuck in a rut but there is also a handy 8 week meal plan provided. My kids and I are looking forward to trying our way through the suggestions and adjusting the recipes as we need/like. If I have a 5 week meal plan left after we have discarded ones we don’t like, then it still a win in my eyes.

Egg noodles with pre prepared frozen veg is a quick and easy meal. You could even buy a ready made sauce if you want it to feel more like a takeout meal. Also have one meal a week you can just bung in the oven, even if it's just a freezer pizza and garlic bread (have fruit for dessert or serve with some bags of pre chopped carrot sticks if you want to add nutrition). We normally have potato waffles with chicken dippers or fish fingers and microwave some frozen peas to have on the side one night a week. Second online shopping for groceries, makes life much easier.
