Lynda McCartney meatballs

Has anyone used Lynda McCartney meatballs in a slow cooker?? Or would they disintegrate?!

Wanted to have my slow cooker going today as it feels homely having lovely smells. Was going to stick a veggie bolognese in but couldn’t get hold of any veggie mince. Have Lynda McCartney meatballs in.

Would they work??

I suspect they would fall apart... but you could make the sauce and then just whack them in the oven while cooking pasta and then add it all?

I’ve tried slow cooking Quorn and it went really soggy.

I'd add them just at the end yof you can and just sit at the top so they warm through. I use qourn sausages in mine and they don't fall apart but Linda M ones do if your not careful as they have a looser texture.

Thanks.

I made a bolognese sauce in the slow cooker and let that mature. Then cooked the Linda McCartney meatballs in the oven and added them to the slow cooker for the last 20 mins while I was sorting the spaghetti etc out.

It turned out gorgeous and highly recommend :-)
