Healthy snacks

I'm looking for reasonably healthy, filling snacks (not too high in fat or sugar) that are easy to prepare or just grab when you leave the house. Any ideas? Am after sweet and savoury. So far I have oatcakes and hummus at the top of my list in terms of convenience. Sometimes I just take bread and thin layer of butter and jam or marmite. That's not particularly nutritious though. I hate dried fruit and nuts. Can't be bothered to do homemade oat/seed etc flapjack type things. What else fulfils the brief?

Boiled eggs
Egg whites and pesto mixed and baked in mini muffin trays (fine cold)
Cherry tomatoes
Chopped up cucumber or carrot
Toasted seeds (toast and keep in a jar) plain or with spices and salt or in soy sauce
Chocolate raisins are super for energy
Rich Tea lights
Oat cakes and peanut butter

Thank you. A hard-boiled egg is a classic which I'd forgotten about. I should have said, am after 'stodgier' snacks. Never find that fruit or veg/salad on its own keeps me going for long.

May I ask why you're in such a hurry? I can't think of anything that quick, there are loads of things that'd take ten mins, maybe the night before - chia seed pudding, shakes, smoothies etc. A quick little salad with roast veg.

have you tried the St Dalfour spreads? They are all fruit and fruit concentrate (which really is sugar, but hey) rather than more sugar than fruit as most jams are.

Mini Soreen loaves are stodge but lower calorie and better for you.

ONli and Nakd bars are healthier, pressed fruit and oats.

Greek yoghurt or Skyr
Babybel with oatcakes or an apple
Roasted chickpeas
Popcorn
Homemade tortilla chips with guac

Loads to think about here and try out, that's great.

corduroyal I have a 3 yr old and a 6 month old who is sleeping badly at the moment. Anything to lighten the workload is preferable Grin
