I really enjoy a quick snack of a fish finger sandwich and I tend to buy the usual Birds Eye brand. I just feel that there is not much fish in them any more and I have seen other brands and some Jumbo larger ones. Are there any that anyone would recommend, I do like the idea of Jumbo if any are any good!!

Waitrose

They just have to be cod fish fingers and reasonable quality

I've had birds eye and tesco own (not the cheapest, the next up) and they're both ok.

Cover 'em in salt and vinegar and they're all pretty much the same imo!

Asda. Over 60% of alaskan pollock fillet (cod family).

I like the Waitrose jumbo cod ones, they make a great sandwich.

I don't think it matters tbh.
just try some different yourself and see if you taste a difference

Waitrose jumbo ones are massive and really chunky, and have brown instead of orange breadcrumbs.

Waitrose jumbo ones here as well.

They all taste like cardboard to me!

Nat6999 · 12/01/2020 18:34

Birds Eye 100% cod ones, the only ones I buy.

Morrison's own brand Haddock fish fingers. Prefer them over branded ones
