I always chuck green lentils (dried) in stew. Most curries could also take some green lentils. Spag bol could have some in.

I mix them with lots of chopped, steamed veg and veggie gravy, then top with mash for a veggie cottage pie. It’s lovely.

Fry a chopped onion till transparent with some diced bacon or pancetta, add some garlic. Combine with the lentils and a little stock, warm through on the stove top or in the oven. Serve with pork chops, sausages, gammon, cold roast pork etc etc.

Sauté some diced onion celery and carrots add some garlic and the lentils and some stock and sausages and bake till sausages are cooked. You could add tomatoes if liked.

I use them as a dahl, veggie cottage pie base, and they're great in salads.

Drain & rinse the lentils and mix with vinaigrette dressing as a base for salad, goes well with ham or pork.
