The BEST garlic bread recipe ever

Have made this twice now and can't get enough of it.

Slight adaptations - I used a mix of spring onion and white onion and 2x part baked baguettes split into two to make 4. Pressed on the topping rather than spread - nice and thick. Cooked in a fan oven for 10 mins at 170c.

That looks absolutely lovely and I'm craving it now! But it's tripping up my naming convention filters: this is much more a cheese on toast than a garlic bread - if you added mustard it'd be a rarebit, which isn't the case for garlic bread plus mustard.

A stick or a cup aren't on any of my measuring sides, I could do oz to gr etc but cup & stick mean nothing !

Hi sorry late to respond! Google told me that half a stick of butter is about 56g and the link has already converted the half cup of cheddar cheese to 50g.

Made this again last night. Bordering on addicted!
