Can I use bolognese for lasagne tomorrow

Have cooked up a bolognese this evening and have a lot left. No room in freezer at all so rather than throw away was thinking of making a lasagne tomorrow, would this be OK considering it will be cold or would I need to heat up on hob before putting in oven as lasagne?

It's fine to make the lasagna up cold :)

I would heat it up first and then assemble your lasagna.

I'm sure that thousands of people in this country every day make a bolognese with the deliberate intention of turning it into a lasagne tomorrow.

Make sure it has enough time in the oven to heat all the way through.

You might want to cover the top with foil for the first part of the cooking time.

for a moment there i was thinking you were asking if it could be used because of the recioe itself, and im sat here thinking but lasagne is bolognase! ha oops.
yes im sure this is a time saver people use all the time.
we have done it.cook up the mince ready to put it together the next day or later.
no need to heat it just make sure you give it a bit more time in the oven to heat through.

I do this all the time. It is fine. I assemble it cold and make sure it is heated well in the oven.

Yes. As others say, make it with the meat sauce cold, then oven bake until boiling throughout.
Enjoy.

I do this every few weeks.
No need to heat just put in oven for 35/40 mins, then loosely cover with foil and let it sit for 5-10 mins before serving so that the layers stay stacked.
