Unopened jar. Can I use it do you think?

Yeah, mincemeat lasts forever. I have 6/7 year old jars and they’re still fine!

It hasn't got any alcohol in it. Hardly worth it really is it?

If it didn’t have any in to start with it might have changed it’s mind by now.

If I add a dash of brandy I'll improve it by 100% and render it totally eatable no?

I used one the other day from last year and it was fine!

I buy mine in the sales and use the following year or even two years later - never had any problems and I’m very careful with dates
