I've just taken a pregnancy test earlier this week and it came back positive 😍🥰 .

Im VERY EARLY so I'm very nervous. Last time I was pregnant I completely freaked out about food and regularly ended up in tears about what I can/can't eat!!

I'm struggling to find UK advice on:

Subway - is the salad ok or is there risk of listeria?

Is pre cut and packages fruit ok - or is there risk of listeria?

Salad in restaurants? My worry is has it been washed properly.

Can I eat things like mcdonalds kfc etc or is that off limits? What's the best places to eat out? Spicy food ok?

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm still waiting to hear from the maternity team following my referral so I am very nervous what I can and can't have in the meantime!

Thanks lovely ladies xx

All fine to eat.

Just google for NHS pregnancy food and it will tell you what you need to avoid in the UK.

All the things you have asked about are fine to have

www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/foods-to-avoid-pregnant/ read this for food info
