Can I make lasagne on Sunday to eat Christmas Eve?

I'm not sure if it's safe to prepare a lasagne on Sunday (including fully cooking it), and then reheat in the oven on Tuesday evening for Christmas Eve dinner?

I'm so so short of time. I'm working Monday and Tuesday and won't have much time before we need to eat so I'd prefer to cook it on Sunday and reheat on Tuesday (I'm guessing for about 20 mins), than cook for the first time on Tuesday which will take 45 mins.....

I realise the answer is to have takeaway or something easier but it has to be lasagne- long, dull story.......

I've done this lots of times before. Altho I usually cook mince, onions and sauce allow to cool and then assemble it all and put in fridge so it just needs cooking in oven.

Should be absolutely fine. Just reheat fully.

Definitely. In fact I think it takes better if you do that.

Fine it’s much better reheated, thicker and you can slice it like cake ... yum

I often reheat lasagna as much as five days later and am alive to tell the tale. It will be fine. The only thing I would recommend covering it tightly with foil when you reheat it to stop it drying out as it will have browned the first time

I would assemble the ingredients but not oven them as it sometimes dries out when reheated in the oven.
