Every year I get to making my marzipan and I end up making too much for the cake (20cm cake and want to cover the sides) I also haven’t found a foolproof recipe.
Anyone have a really reliable, tried and tested one?
(Do not suggest buying it! I always thought I hated marzipan until I made my own. Turns out they put almond essence in most shop bought and I hate that strong taste. Even though I’ve had a mixed result in terms of amount and consistency, they have all tasted gorgeous)
