I’ve made them for vegans and omnivores and everyone loves them because both they have such interesting tastes.

Interesting that quite a few posters are recommending Middle Eastern food. I’m completely obsessed with Palestinian/Syrian/Lebanese food but my meat eating friends are oblivious to it. Thought it was just me but maybe it’s a veggie thing! I love any combination of lemon, herbs, garlic, chilli - fattoush is a particular favourite.
