I've friends coming for a meal. One is gluten free and loves it when he can eat cake. The Persiana carrot, pistachio and almond cake is GF and very tasty. I'd like to serve some sort of fruit with it, a compot or similar. Just struggling to think what fruit would work best with that kind of cake. I just feel it would make it more of a dessert than just cake. Help me out wonderful people please! I've a head cold and not thinking straight
