Pork belly - 9kgs!

So wise Mumsnettters I'm cooking a festive porchetta on Sunday. The recipe is for 3kg and I'm tripling that (got a fair few to feed!) the recipe says it will cook in around 2 1/2 hours. If the pork is in 3kg portions will the cook time stay the same?

So you'll have 3 separate rolls each about 3kg?

How long they take will depend on your oven. Can it sustain an even and constant temperature cooking all that at once? I think you would need to rotate the pieces to ensure even cooking.

I think I would allow a bit longer just in case. You can always keep one or more warm if they cook in a shorter time.

Thank you. I'm going to give it plenty of time. My mums bringing a food warmer thing, very 60's. So I can rotate and keep hot!
