Help me work out how to make a Cadbury Boost cake?!

So, older teen DS’s birthday is coming up, he loves Cadbury Boost bars, and I’m trying to work out how to make a Boost-flavoured/inspired cake, rather than just chopping some up on top (although that could probably be part of it!)

Not necessarily a baked sponge.....if I incorporated little bits of biscuit into a sponge, would they go soggy when I baked it?

Maybe a cheesecake type thing, with a biscuit base, caramel layer, and then chocolate truffle-y main body?!

Any inspirations or recipe ideas welcome, Google and my own brain are letting me down a bit!

Oohh cheesecake with boost bars yummy. I have a waaayyy easy cheesecake recipe. I'd probably crush boost bars and mix with digestive biscuits (crushed) and melted butter for the base.

Add sugar I usually use two large handfuls because who can be bothered with scales 😂😂 to a large tub of mascapone cheese and a small pot of whipping cream. Beat with electronic whisk til firm. Melt knob of unsalted butter with whole bar of white chocolate. Mix with the cheese. Add more boost bar bits. Put in fridge for couple of hours jobs a goodnn 😁

I know this is of no help OP but I would also like to know how to make sweet/bar flavoured cakes.

I tried to do Chocobon once it was revolting Sad

How about this

Thanks @TorysSuckRevokeArticle50, I did see this but the chocolate filling she uses is buttercream, does anyone have a recipe for a more truffle style filling? I think @joCmummy the cheesecake mix is probably closer, I could do it with milk chocolate instead of white, to recreate the Boost filling!
I do like a creative challenge Grin

Or a chocolate dense mousse on the inside, something closer to a ganache made with chocolate and double cream

It all sounds so yummy now I'd like cake 😭

@TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 that sounds more like it, I’ve never made one though - do you have an easy recipe? Or would google have millions? I think a cheesecake style refrigerated thing is my best bet, rather than an actual baked cake.
Maybe milk chocolate drizzled over and chopped Boosts on top! 🤤
@joCmummy I know - I might have a secret test run and eat the results! (To hide them, of course)

Try a truffle recipe like this but with a slightly less dark chocolate because the innards of a boost are more milky than dark chocolate
