Hand food chopper recommendations

The ones you put onions etc in and push the plunger up and down and it rotates the blades and chops.... has been requested for Christmas by a relative. Friends used to rave about the Pampered Chef one but can only find 2nd hand now (or £131 new from Amazon WTF).
Anyone got one they would recommend? Seems to be quite a price range, don't want to buy a cheap one that is rubbish, equally paying more doesn't always guarantee quality.
We have one as an attachment to our stickblender, and I know you can get electric ones but they have been very specific about non-electric as the wire would get in the way. Apparently. So would rather get what they've asked for
Thank you
