Refreeze tomato sauce

I am about to start batch cooking meals in preparation of the arrival of my first baby. I have already got some cooked tomato sauces in the freezer. My query is can I cook them into a lasagne/curry etc and then refreeze it in that state? Logic tells me I can, they're tomatoes but I'm not 100% sure that I'm right. Does any one know? Thanks in advance.

Never defrost then refreeze anything. That's what I was taught at catering college

Tomatoes should be fine refrozen.
