Chicken thighs in slow cooker

The chicken we had got out of the freezer for tonight's dinner hasn't defrosted (so we ordered a chippy - result)

So I'm thinking I will out it in the slow cooker whilst we're at work for tomorrow instead.
It's a pack thing from Aldi, paprika rubbed chicken thighs and drumsticks, with chorizo and red onions (minimal chorizo and red onions)

Can I just put the chicken in the slow cooker without any liquid? Or should I add a ton of tomatoes and season with paprika?

Thank you!

You can put it in without liquid but if you are out all day I'd put the tomatoes in. Besides it sounds tasty with tomatoes.

Thank your for your reply

Yeah I was worried about the chicken drying out.
Just also worried it would turn into a tomato mush mess
