Cake is baked and in freezer. Party is on Sunday. Can I defrost overnight then crumb coat and fondant ice tomorrow??

Yep the fondant more or less is airtight so cake keeps ages under it.

Just make sure your cake is room temp after defrosting, if you try to put the fondant on while it's still cold it will condensate and be a nightmare to smooth because it starts sticking

Once you have put the fondant on store at room temp in a cardboard box or just in the cupboard, don't use Tupperware etc

Yes what newname said, and also no tin foil!

The fondant will melt in plastic. Your cake will be all sticky and nasty. Better to just store it in a cupboard or find a cardboard box

Personally I wouldn’t fondant a cake more than 2-3 days before needing it.
