We have picked 4 cucmbers of our plant, before frosts/slugs get them. What the ???? can I do with 4 largish cucumbers please

My mum always did something lovely that I have shamelessly copied, it is tuna cucumber pasta, which is basically what it says! Mixed with salt/pepper and mayo and add red onions if you like. Great for a light supper or you can make to take for lunches. HTH!

Not as the main ingredient as such, but Ken Hom's Bang Bang Chicken and Delia's "Salmon Fishcakes with dill and cucumber sauce" are both delicious, and would use up a cucumber apiece.

My SIL makes an hors d'oevre (sp?) where she spreads Boursin on a tortilla, sprinkles chopped up cucumber over it, rolls up the tortilla, then cuts it into slices. Yummy.

My 5 year old always claimed that she didn't like cucumber. A couple of months ago we were at a chinese restaraunt and we had crispy duck, so they had sticks of peeled, seeded cucumber. She ate tons of them and couldn't believe it was cucumber, so she said "Is it chinese cucumber?", to which we replied "yes it is". So I now "make" chinese cucumber for her at home.
