Dairy free jam tarts help!

Dd is having a tea party with her friends at ours after school tomorrow. I've brought all the stuff for them to make jam tarts (their idea) but have just found out one of them can't have dairy. What can I use instead of butter that isn't going to kill anyone and will make half decent tarts?!

trex? do they even still make that?

Anything sunflower based should be fine

or can you get some ready made dairy free pastry? Be a damned sight easier than several girls attempting to make pastry!
