The plain Tims. I cannot leave the large pot alone once opened.

TakeMeToYourLiar · 30/09/2019 20:19

Umm, I make my
Own in the instant pot. It is incredible

2 ingredients - milk and a yogurt starter

ScarletPower · 30/09/2019 20:19

I always add a dash of double cream to my yoghurt, add nuts, cinnamon and a bit of honey oooh lovely.

SoMuchToBits · 30/09/2019 20:19

Fage Total 5% Greek yoghurt. Lovely and creamy, thick, without being sweet.

WelshMoth · 30/09/2019 20:23

Tesco finest full fat Greek yoghurt.
Creamy, not sweet, easy on the palate. Tons smoother and nicer than natural yoghurt.

Care to pass on your granola recipe?!

Mominatrix · 30/09/2019 20:25

We love the Collective natural. Their flavoured are also very good - no sweeteners, and not too sickly sweet.

AgeLikeWine · 30/09/2019 20:28

Lidl low-fat Greek style is by far the best natural yogurt. It comes in 1kg tubs, and there is always one in our fridge.

SarahTancredi · 30/09/2019 20:30

I haven't eaten yogurt in years..I'm.assuming , worse case scenario all these go into a smoothie fine if she doesnt like?

I like Greek yoghurt rather than natural yoghurt but not the Greek style as they have a weird aftertaste. M&S or Waitrose do good ones.

FashionFoodLaughs · 30/09/2019 20:34

Aldi Greek Yogurt (a dupe of Fage) is my favourite. I have the full fat as a treat but enjoy the fat free too. Also like their individual pots of hazelnut flavour Greek yogurt.

MaybeitsMaybelline · 30/09/2019 20:35

I prefer Skyr. No sugar, fat free and amazingly sweet and creamy and low calories.

gwilt · 30/09/2019 20:41

I have tried and enjoyed full fat:

Tesco Finest Greek yoghurt
Aldi Greek yoghurt
Asda Greek yoghurt
Fage Greek yoghurt

TBH they all taste the same to me.

Have every day for breakfast with raspberries, granola and swirl of maple syrup.

My granola is one bag of value oats, two small bags of chopped nuts, slosh of vegetable oil, slosh of maple syrup, large pinch of sea salt. Makes 3-4 Mason jars and lasts for weeks.

gwilt · 30/09/2019 20:41

PS bake granola for 25-30 minutes at 160C.

BarbaraofSeville · 30/09/2019 20:44

Onken natural biopot is also nice.

SarahTancredi · 30/09/2019 20:48

Thank you for the granola recipe Smile

DH and DS's all love Lidl Greek yogurt, in fact we make a special trip just to buy it Grin

Runkle · 30/09/2019 21:10

Lidl or Iceland Greek yoghurt.

TheGoatIsHere · 30/09/2019 22:00

@TakeMeToYourLiar

Ditto here for the instant pot - make a batch every Sunday night.

Shantotto · 30/09/2019 22:03

I haven’t tried Lidl Greek yogurt but the natural yogurt was terrible - about as thick as water!

SarahTancredi · 30/09/2019 22:03

I think I'd be in danger of being thrown out if I brought home any more appliances BlushGrin

Waitrose or m and s Greek yougurt

Mustbetimeforachange · 30/09/2019 23:23

Make your own. All you need is a wide necked vacuum flask, milk & live yoghurt. If you like Greek style you can strain it.
Skyr was disgusting when I tried it. The texture was very odd.

Stumpedasatree · 01/10/2019 15:22

Fage is amazing, even the 0% fat tastes good!

SarahTancredi · 01/10/2019 16:24

Well I have bought the Tim's dairy in vanilla and one with a touch of honey.

I guess we will have a verdict tomorrow.

I'm.happy to wade through the others Smile
