Slow cooker all day recipes

I'm getting back into using my slow cooker, and have found some lovely recipes, the only problem I have is that some say to cook for 4-5 hours on Low.
I am out of the house for 10 hours for work and commuting, and have read that the plug timers aren't recommended.

Does anybody have any ideas which can be left on all day?

The ones I had liked the look of were chicken tagine (4-5 hours) and pineapple chicken (3.5-4 hours)

Thank you!

I think the problem with plug timers is that the meat is sitting at ambient temperature for hours before they switch on, & then don't reach a sufficiently high temperature to kill any bacteria.

There's a FB group "Slow cooked wonders :)" that might be more helpful than me.

I do slow cooked pulled pork flask fry the pork shoulder first then add it to the other ingredients, normally mines on for about 11 hours and it tastes great.

Thank you! I do pulled pork and many stews/casseroles, as they tend to be ok all day!
