What cut of beef for cooking in e,g Madeira in slow cooker

I want to do beef braised in Madeira for a dinner party. I'd prefer to do a big 'chunk' of meat per person than cubes of beef which I would do for a family meal or cooking a whole joint and slicing . Not sure what cut of meat I would use?

Brisket but most stuff out if a slow cooker will fall apart on slicing.

Thank you - sorry if OP mit clear, i meant individual portions of meat so like a steak each - basically so it looks nicer thank cubes of meat, and without the hassle of having to slice. But not sure what cuts would work like that, if any

Get your butcher to advise because he/she can cut any cut into steaks rather than chunks. I would go with chuck steak

Oxtail might work?
