Hi I would like to make some pickled onions to give out for Christmas. I have the jars. I would like them to be as close to Garners Original pickled onions as possible as that is the type we like, quite strong but not chilli hot. I have never done this before and wondered 1. How long before christmas should I make them 2. What type of onions do I buy 3. Any recipes/methods would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
