Recipe for bbq powder please?

Following in from the fajita recipes, does anyone have a good bbq powder please? The kids like it sweet and smoky - I buy Schwarz sachets in Aldi when they have them or they like the pre cooked stuff you can buy.

Google barbecue rub recipes and loads come up. I tend to just chuck a few different spices together and hope for the best - not had any disasters but can't share a tried and tested recipe as all so random!
