I am bereft. My Kenwood FP470 that I've had for close on 25 years has expired 😭
I sadly don't have a massive budget but would like something reliable that will ideally last a similar length of time. Magimix way out of budget. Found a Bosch one I liked the look of on Amazon but misread the decimal point (£597 not £59.70 😂)
Needs to chop/blend/grate etc, currently have (had Sad) 1.2litre capacity so need the same or more, and the recently deceased one was 450W so would like that or more powerful.

What have you got and would you recommend it?

Starters - mushroom alfredo on garlic ciabatta.

Main : steak, tenderstem broccoli, double cooked shoestring fries.

Dessert : salted caramel cheesecake. BnFk

We use Vitamix 750 for several years, everything is ok. I heard that Oster models are good too and very cheap.

One of main criteria while choosing the one are its speed and power. In case of speed it's better to get the one between 3 and 10 speed settings. There's actually no need for the ones with more than 10 or 12 settings and the ones with less than 3 aren't good for your control. For power 500 watts is really enough www.thespruceeats.com/blender-buying-tips-1907205 .
Personally I like the Braun models, they're really good in quality and aren't extremely expensive. Oster and Vava blenders have many positive reviews too pickadvisor.org/best-blenders-with-glass-jars/ .
And your price can depend on the blender's additional attachments too like coffee grinder, personal cups and mixing bowls.
