Whatever happened to Elsanta strawberries? No, I don't want to buy any!

They used to be in every supermarket, tasteless and boring and I only ever bought them as a last resort. Now they've vanished; good!

They've not gone anywhere - I've bought them all summer. I like them.

They were replaced by Mailing Centenary, much sweeter and flavoursome variety.Also Driscolls whatever
All strawberries need sun to ripen otherwise they will be watery with no taste
