I have made a cheesecake. But using light Philadelphia. I am now regretting it as it doesn't seem to be setting. Anyone had any success with this or have I arsed it up?

I presume you can still eat it in a bowl with a spoon?

Not sure what it’s going to turn out like but i’ve always used and always been told to use full fat.

Unfortunately I think you’ve arsed it up. You really need full fat.

I recommend eating it with a spoon!

light anything is usually whipped up with air and water, and snail slime so you probably don't have enough substance for your cheesecake.

posted too soon...leave it in the fridge overnight, it might set up, but if not then into the freezer with it and make a really nice chocolate sauce and remarket it as icecream cake. :o

You needed full fat really. Low fat for cheesecake is rubbish and it’s just not right
