Risotto/paella recipes

So im looking for child friendly risotto/paella recipes please. Really need some tasty recipes for my fussy 6yr old. Any of you care to share? Tia x

Hi op paella and risottos are favourites in this house but I kinda bung it in as I go, with paella I fry the chorizo, then fry the chicken in the chorizo oil, take it out and saute the onion and add any other veg (usually peppers) then do the seasoning and rice, add in the peas and serve the kids, then add my seafood at the end for 10 mins (kids don’t like it)
With risotto i always start with the normal base then add flavours after, some favourites are:
Margarita (tomato and basil with melted mozzarella at the end)
chicken and mushroom,
pea, mint and lemon,

bacon and peas :)

Oooh they sound tasty and really easy! Thanks for those! With risotto are you meant to keep stirring it? Or can it go in slow cooker? Never made it before.

Risotto really needs to be stirred constantly to break down the rice grains & make it creamy.
Paella is much easier, & stirring is minimal.
Don't forget you'll need different types of rice for each.

BBC Good Food leek and bacon risotto is very simple and delicious. Good in the oven without the need to constantly stir. Needs longer to cook I find, but will depend on your oven.
