Brown rice pudding

Can any of you tell me whether brown rive pudding would work?

I make rice pudding in the oven (2 hours-ish, at 3-4, or 180)) with 1litre almond milk, 100g white pudding rice and a tablespoon of honey.

Would this work as well with brown short grain rice, do you think?

I can't see why not?
I have made rice pudding with arborio rice but not brown short grain.
I would imagine it takes longer though with perhaps the need for more liquid.
