I make a mixed seafood one - 2 packs of fresh mixed seafood, sometimes with added king prawns. Add the lot to a large Loyd Grossman Tomato & Chilli sauce

In summer I make a fresh tasting shrimp/prawn linguine. I put chopped tomatoes, minced garlic, lemon juice, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper in the pasta bowl. Add about 1/2 cup of flaked Parmesan cheese and mix well. Add cooked prawns or shrimp.

Toss hot pasta into the bowl.

Very simple and easy. DH loves this and requests it often in summer.

For 2 people, takes 15 mins tops:
A defrosted pack of frozen prawns (the bigger the better),
Half a jar of Sacla fiery chilli pesto,
A fresh lime and half a bunch or coriander,
Fresh egg linguine or tagliatelle - usually only takes 4-5 mins to cook.
As you cook the pasta, cook the prawns in a different pan in the chilli pesto, when pasta is cooked, drain and mix in with the prawns/pesto, squeeze in the juice of half a lime and most of the coriander. Serve with lime wedge and top with extra coriander.

I made a crab and prawn linguine last week. Cooked the pasta then put to drain. DS wanted me to add chorizo so I fried that with no oil, then added raw king prawns and crab meat, pan fried until the prawns went pink, readded the pasta and finished off with a Sacla cherry tomato and parmesan sauce. I also made parmesan crisps to serve with it - spoonful of grated parmesan and black pepper at a time on baking parchment, then cook for 5 mins at gas mark 6 until golden brown and crispy. Yum.

I made up a recipe for a creamy lemony scallop & king prawn linguine a while ago that worked nicely. I did write it down somewhere but off the top of my head:

Mix the zest of a lemon into a few tbsp of cream and set aside. (Also juice the lemon).
Start the linguine cooking.
Sear scallops in butter in a frying pan (if using scallops) and add king prawns and halved cherry tomatoes for a few minutes.
Add the lemon juice to the pan.
Add the cooked linguine, lemony cream, some chilli flakes and a handful of rocket - heat through.
Serve topped with chives.

God, these all sound so delicious! I've only eaten linguine with Iceland's Wild Red Shrimp, but a homemade dish would probably be even nicer.

I've made this a few times: www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/linguine-garlic-butter-prawns

Or you could do this with linguine instead of spaghetti: www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/5159/lemon-and-parsley-spaghetti

Chopped fresh tomatoes and soften in a pan.

Add lemon zest, juice and drained capers. Heat through.
Cook spaghetti, black is the best. Drain pasta, toss with tomato sauce.
Griddle asparagus spears, butterfly prawns and cook until pink.

Put pasta and sauce in a dish, add prawns and arrange asparagus on the top.
Easy and no jars of processed sauce either.
