haven't got a clue how to cook this corn on the cob...help!!

So what do you do with it then!!?? Not exactly the weather for a BBQ and I usually cheat and buy it in tins/frozen!! DH says to "boil it up" but I'll not take his advice as he's not exactly Jamie Oliver....

strip all the outer stuff off and chuck into a big pan of boiling water for about 5-10 mins, cover in butter and nibble!

Large pan of boiling (salted) water. Bung cobs in and cook until the kernels are tender (10 mins?) Put loads of butter on them before eating.

or if you get really caught out - strip off outer stuff and 3 mins in microwave.

Poppyseed they also taste lovely with fresh ground black pepper over them!

Honestly, it is as easy as everyone says to cook them. Yum.

I always used to boil but now I put them in a hot oven with all the leaves still on. 20 minutes and they are perfect. Steamed in their leaves. Lots of butter and a little black pepper. Perfect.
