I am in a mince rut...

Around once a month I manage to make it out to a butcher nearby for our meat - they do a meat box deal which ALWAYS includes 2 packs of mince - one beef and one lamb. I am stuck in a cycle of:

Shepherds/cottage pie
Chilli
Lasagne
Burgers

Am I being really unimaginative? I feel like there must be something more inspiring I can do Confused

Please inspire me!

Old classic spaghetti bolognese for the beef mince,we also use it to fill the old El Paso soft tacos which are 😋. Like you I only really do shepherds pie with the lamb mince. X

Lamb mince doner kebab, nothing like the shite you buy in takeaways. I push metal skewers in mine and grill it.

I make a mean burger using beef mince.
All the usual ingredients... beef mince, few breadcrumbs, minced onion. Maybe a clove of garlic, and an egg.

Then grate an apple into the mixture.

Leave in the fridge to harden up a bit, then shape into patties.
You won’t ever taste the apple, but you’ll have really really juicy burgers.

I’ve just made lamb burgers (allergy to sodium metabisulfite they use in normal burgers) using a Poundland burger mould. It was in the bbq section.

Dishwasher safe too.

I get a lot of kitchen stuff from there.
