I want to make a recipe I have found but need to do it in the slow cooker while I am at work.

Any wise cooks able to help me adjust this to make it work please?

Thanks!

The link goes to a log in page. We don't have logins so can't see the recipe. As a general rule, use a lot less liquid. BNS will fall apart completely and thicken the liquid, which works nicely. Sweet potato may overcook. Chickpeas, if an ingredient, will hold up well.

Oh, I didn't realise it doesn't work. Here are the ingredients. Basically you layer it all up and put a lid on and simmer for awhile, only I need to use the slow cooker.

I would marinate the chicken in lemon, seasoning and saffron. Half the stock content and mix with passatta then put the veg in first then the chicken and cover with the liquids. Cooking on low for 6 hrs or high for 3/4 hrs

Thanks! Going to prepare it tonight and put it in the fridge until tomorrow so 0lenty of time to marinate.

If there seems to be to much liquid near the end of cooking take of the lid and leave it on to help thicken and reduce the liquid. Enjoy it looks to be a really nice recipe

It does sound delicious, I just hope my lack of cooking skills doesn't ruin it.

Thanks for the tips, much appreciated.

I would chuck it all in minus the stock, just crumble a chicken stock cube in instead.

well my hand slipped with the passata so maybe 300 ml of that went in so I just used enough water to dissolve the stock pot.

i added green beans and a red pepper too.

I will report back later....
